On my second trip abroad in December 2014, the purpose was to experience Disneyland, Hong Kong with my family. If you have kids, Hong Kong is the best place to visit. December would be the best month to visit the country because it is winter. The winter season means cold and no snow. Even if you have a lot of city walks, you will not get tired easily because of the weather.
For Filipinos, Hong Kong is one of the best and most strategic countries to visit if you are a novice traveler. I am not saying that it is a cheap country but it is one of the most accessible countries because there is no required visa for Filipino tourists.
If you are on a tight budget, booking your flight through Macau is better because it has cheaper airfare tickets. Then take a ferry going to Hong Kong. Macau is mostly casinos but they have this area for tourists wherein you can buy souvenirs. It is around the Ruins of St. John Paul’s located in San Antonio, Macau. There are cheap hotels around the area so that you can explore the area easily.
